Mary O Donovanadmin
Mary is a native of Ballineen and is returning to the area with a wealth of experience. She qualified with a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Limerick in 2011. She was awarded the Anne O’ Brien Prize for Clinical Excellence by the ISCP and UL upon graduation. Prior to joining us here she worked in West Limerick Physio and Neurorehabilitation Clinic and in Castletroy Physiotherapy Clinic. Mary has completed post graduate courses in Dry Needling, Pilates, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Strength and conditioning, injury prevention, sports traumatology, management of cervical disorders and numerous sports courses.
Mary’s personal experience in sport, having played ladies football locally, winning county, munster and all Ireland medals informs her professional approach. And more recently her professional involvement working with teams has further enhanced her skills. She has worked with numerous Rugby and GAA teams including Shannon RFC, Newcastle West RFC, Young Munster RFC, Munster Rugby, Limerick GAA, Newcastle West GAA and more locally Ballinascarthy GAA.
Mary has a keen interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation. She has a particular interest in hip and shoulder issues, vestibular rehabilitation, and enjoys a holistic approach to patient care.
